Johnson was waived by Atlanta on Saturday, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Johnson appeared in four games for the Hawks this preseason, averaging 2.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals over 8.8 minutes per contest. The 23-year-old is expected to remain with the G League's College Park Skyhawks after suiting up for the club in 2025-26.
