Duarte scored 17 points (7-18 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 0-2 FT), tacking on three rebounds, an assist and a block over 30 minutes in Wednesday's 124-116 loss to the Lakers.
Duarte exceeded 15 points for the first time in his previous 10 games. Although moderately inefficient, the volume of attempts is a welcome sight for shareholders. He remains in a cold spell from deep, shooting 7-for-24 from three over his last six games, but the rookie is showing some resilience and is obviously a candidate for continued growth.
