Walker will start Friday's game against the Mavericks, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.
Aaron Nesmith will come off the bench in his return from a hamstring injury, opening the door for Walker to enter the first unit. He logged 19 minutes in Wednesday's season-opening win over New Orleans, recording three points, six rebounds, two assists, one block and four turnovers while shooting 1-for-6 from the field.
