Pelicans' Herbert Jones: Ruled out for Friday

Jones (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Jones will miss his sixth straight game due to a right ankle sprain, and his next opportunity to play will come Sunday against the Heat. With the 27-year-old forward remaining sidelined, Jordan Hawkins and Micah Peavy will likely continue to see increased playing time, especially if Saddiq Bey (hip) is downgraded from questionable to out.
