Pelicans' Herbert Jones: Won't play Friday

Jones (ankle) will not play Friday against the Wizards, Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports.

No surprise here, as Jones was previously listed as doubtful. Meanwhile, Trey Murphy (back, ankle) remains questionable. Guys like Jordan Poole, Bryce McGowens and Micah Peavy may see increased roles with Jones out of the mix.
