Murray was assigned to the D-League's Austin Spurs on Sunday.
Murray made a spot start last Wednesday against the Pacers while Tony Parker sat out with a quad injury, but the rookie had essentially dropped out of the rotation in the subsequent two contests with Parker healthy, logging four total minutes. He's been a standout performer at Austin all season, and will have an opportunity to get some extended run in the D-League team's game Sunday against the Salt Lake City Stars. Look for the Spurs to recall Murray in advance of Monday's tilt with the Rockets.
