Humphries recorded 18 points (5-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks over 27 minutes off the bench in his Suns debut during Friday's 116-100 loss to the Rockets.
Humphries, who was acquired Thursday from the Wizards as part of the Markieff Morris deal, didn't take long to make a splash with his new team, as he showcased his long-range shooting and rebounding ability while seeing healthy minutes. Both Humphries and Mirza Teletovic (34 minutes) benefited greatly from Alex Len (ankle) sitting out and Tyson Chandler playing only eight minutes before leaving with a shoulder injury, however, so expect Humphries' role and usage with the Suns decline when the team is back to full health in the frontcourt.
