Topic (back) will not play in Tuesday's preseason opener against the Pelicans, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Topic had been limited during training camp, so it's unsurprising that Oklahoma City will take a cautious approach with him in the preseason opener. The 21-year-old will travel to Tulsa, and his status will be worth monitoring ahead of the Thunder's remaining exhibition contests.
