Williams (rest) won't play in Friday's preseason game against the Warriors.
Williams will take the night off before presumably being available for Opening Night against Phoenix. The veteran big man is a capable statistical contributor, though he has battled injuries over the years. If Williams remains healthy, he should see steady minutes behind Donovan Clingan throughout the 2026-27 campaign.
