Tyrell Terry: Cut by Dallas

The Mavericks waived Terry (personal) on Friday, Mike Fisher of SI.com reports.

After Terry missed the Mavericks' final preseason game Friday due to a personal matter, the organization elected to cut ties entirely with the 2020 second-round pick. The Stanford product didn't make much of an impression in limited opportunities at the NBA level as a rookie, averaging 1.0 points in 5.1 minutes per game over 11 appearances.
