Ojeleye finished with zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and one block in 24 minutes during Thursday's 115-109 loss to the 76ers. Ojeleye has gone scoreless in two straight games despite combining for 48 minutes during this back-to-back set. He has reached double figures in scoring just once through 24 appearances this season, and Ojeleye is only worthy of consideration in the very deepest formats.
Ojeleye supplied three points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist during Friday's 108-95 home win over the Nuggets. Ojeleye will never deliver eye-popping scoring stats, but he continues to produce fantastic plus-minus ratios for Boston. After producing a plus-21 ratio in Wednesday's win over the Heat, Ojeleye kept the good vibes going with a plus-15 effort on Friday. Semi and the Celtics never trailed in this one, jumping out to early lead by scoring 33 points in the first quarter. Ojeleye's strong play earned him 29 minutes of run off the bench. Ojeleye and his fellow Celtics will look to continue their home undefeated streak on Monday versus Cleveland.
Ojeleye provided three points (1-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and a block while playing 22 minutes in the Boston's 121-110 win over the Nets on Wednesday. He got the start Monday as Kemba Walker was recovering from his neck injury, but Walker's return sent Ojeleye back to his bench role. He had some open looks and simply failed to knock them down. Ojeleye did have a blocking foul overturned to a drawn charge after coach Brad Stevens challenged the play. That is symbolic of the defense-first role Ojeleye plays for the Celtics. Even with Gordon Hayward (hand) out, it will take further injury woes for Ojeleye to consistently appear on fantasy radars.
Ojeleye had seven points, two rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes during Monday's 103-102 victory over the Kings. Ojeleye moved into the starting lineup Monday as head coach Brad Stevens shuffled the rotation around with both Kemba Walker (neck) and Daniel Theis (illness) on the sidelines. Ojeleye saw a decent chunk of playing time but was unable to capitalize on the opportunity. Walker could return as soon as Wednesday, shifting Ojeleye back to the bench. He is a non-factor in all standard formats.
Ojeleye will draw the start at power forward for Monday's matchup with the Raptors, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports. The Celtics will be with starters Kemba Walker (concussion) and Daniel Theis (illness) which has opened up an opportunity for Ojeleye to enter the starting lineup.
