Mack (hamstring) was reverted to IR after clearing waivers Tuesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Mack was expected to miss a few weeks with the injury, but with cutdowns needed, the 49ers opted for waiving Mack and ultimately putting him on IR. He'll now be forced to miss the 2022 season, unless he is able to reach an injury settlement with the team.
