Alex Ellis: Cut with injury settlement

The Raiders waived Ellis (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Friday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.

Ellis was waived/injured by Las Vegas on Wednesday but will now be free to sign with another team. The specifics of his injury still aren't known, and it's not clear when he'll be able to return to the field.
