Ameer Speed: Reaches injury settlement

Speed (undisclosed) was cut after reaching an injury settlement with the Browns on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Speed was placed on Cleveland's practice-squad injured list Tuesday with an undisclosed injury, but he will now be free to pass a physical and sign elsewhere this season. The cornerback hasn't appeared in a regular-season game this year, and he'll look to get a shot with a new squad.
