Boyd secured one of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 34-11 win over the Lions.

For the second straight week, Boyd finished behind both Ja'Marr Chase (six) and Tee Higgins (six) in targets. The Cincinnati passing attack has taken a big step forward in 2021, which has certainly been aided by the addition of Chase as the fifth overall selection in this year's draft. Though Joe Burrow is airing it out, Boyd will have games like this when he takes a back seat to the young stars of the Bengals' receiving corps. The veteran wideout will have the opportunity for a bounce-back performance when the Bengals visit the Ravens in Week 7.
