Broncos' P.J. Locke: Ruled out for Week 9

Locke (thumb) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Ravens, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Locke was spotted with a splint on his left thumb Wednesday, and he will now be forced to miss his first contest of the year after failing to practice during the week. In Locke's absence, JL Skinner will likely draw the start at strong safety against Baltimore.
