Cardinals' Alex Ellis: Signs new contract with Cardinals

The Cardinals signed Ellis to a reserve/future contract Wednesday.

The tight end joined the Cardinals' practice squad in November but failed to be elevated for any contests before the conclusion of the 2021 season. Ellis will now return to the team for the 2022 campaign and have another opportunity to crack the active roster.
