Cardinals' Maxx Williams: Signed to active roster

The Cardinals signed Williams to their active roster Wednesday.

Williams has been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for three straight games with Zach Ertz (knee) sidelined. However, Williams totaled just one reception for seven yards during those contests, as Trey McBride has operated as the top tight end. Williams figures to continue garnering a solid role in Arizona's offense, but barring injuries, he remains irrelevant in fantasy.
