Chiefs' Malik Herring: Lands on non-football injury list

Herring (knee) was placed on the non-football injury list Saturday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.

Herring suffered an ACL injury during Senior Bowl practices prior to the draft, so the move is an expected one. When exactly he'll be able to play remains to be seen.
