Cowboys' Josh Butler: Not activated off IR

Butler (knee) will not be activated off injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers, Patrick Walker of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Butler has yet to play in a game this regular season, and that will not change in Sunday's game. The cornerback will likely play a depth role in the Cowboys' secondary once he is healthy, but he will have to look towards Week 17 for a potential 2025 debut.
