Dolphins' Jake Rudock: Links with Dolphins

Miami will sign Rudock to the 53-man roster Thursday, Barry Jackson reports.

Rudock will serve as the Dolphins' emergency backup quarterback due to Ryan Fitzpatrick having tested positive for COVID-19. He's expected to slot in as the No. 2 option behind Tua Tagovailoa during Sunday's game against the Bills. Rudock hasn't played since 2017, when he took a handful of snaps across three games with the Lions.
