Giants CB Prince Amukamara set for MRI on pectoral muscle

Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara will have an MRI on his pectoral muscle early next week, reports Art Stapleton of The Record.

Stapleton adds that Amukamara could return to practice shortly if everything checks out, but he's not likely to play until Week 9 against the Buccaneers. Considering the initial timeline suggested Amukamara could miss 2-4 weeks as he recovers from a partial pectoral tear, it seems as if be's on track.
