Williams (illness) was placed on the Jets' practice squad COVID-19 list Tuesday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports, which was a result of testing positive for the virus, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Williams has played in four games for the Jets this season, including in Week 16 against the Jaguars. He'll attempt to clear protocols, so he can earn another shot with the active roster.
