Jaguars' D.J. Hayden: Designated for return

The Jaguars officially designated Hayden (hamstring) to return from injured reserve Thursday, John Reid reports.

The transaction kicks off a 21-day window wherein the Jaguars can evaluate Hayden at practice without him counting against the 53-man roster. The veteran cornerback can be fully reinstated to the active roster at any point within that span, though a corresponding player would have to be cut.
