Jets' Kris Boyd: Moved to IR

The Jets placed Boyd (shoulder) on injured reserve Monday.

Boyd suffered a shoulder injury during practice in early August, and the issue is serious enough to result in the cornerback being placed on season-ending IR. After signing with New York in mid-March, Boyd had been slated to work as a backup in the secondary as well as serve as a core special-teamer.
