Jets' Tanzel Smart: Signs new deal with New York

Smart signed a reserve/future contract with the Jets on Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official website reports.

Smart went back and forth between the Jets' active roster and their practice squad throughout the 2023 campaign, recording two tackles while appearing in four contests. He'll now have another shot at carving out a permanent spot on the team's active roster in 2024.
