Jordan Franks: Hits practice squad injured list

The Chiefs placed Franks (hand) on their practice squad injured list Wednesday.

Franks suffered a hand injury in practice and will consequently be out of action for at least four weeks. In a corresponding move, Kansas City signed tight end Kendall Blanton -- who was cut by the Rams on Tuesday -- to its practice squad.
