Panthers' Mario Addison: Rocking protective cast on injured foot

Addison (foot) has his right foot in a protective cast and isn't expected to play for "a couple of weeks", Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer reports.

The specifics of Addison's foot injury aren't clear at this point in time, but he's expected to be sidelined at least two games. In his absence, the Panthers could turn to Ryan Delaire (knee), a second-year player who's eligible for activation off injured reserve this week.
