McMillan tallied 10 tackles (six solo) in Thursday's 24-3 loss to the Jets.
McMillan stepped into a starting linebacker role Thursday with Ja'Whaun Bentley being ruled out before the game due to a shoulder injury. McMillan saw the field for 53 of the Patriots' 73 defensive snaps, and he led the team in both combined and solo tackles. After playing just 18 special-team snaps in Week 1, the 2017 second-round pick has accrued 17 tackles (nine solo) and one pass defended over his last two games.
