Rams' Jake Funk: Plays two snaps Week 16

Funk carried once for minus-1 yard while playing two of the Rams' 70 offensive snaps in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Vikings.

Sony Michel carried the load for the Rams, toting the rock 27 times and leaving little work left over for anyone else. With Darrell Henderson (knee) moving to injured reserve Tuesday, Funk could be first in line to ascend to the No. 2 role Week 17 in Baltimore, but he's not likely to have a major role behind Michel. Additionally, Cam Akers (Achilles) could be ready to make his season debut this weekend, in which case Funk would be third in line for backfield work.
