Rams' Landen Akers: Inks futures deal

Akers signed a reserve/future contract with Rams on Tuesday.

Akers signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State last spring. He spent two games on the active roster in Week 12 and 15, but Akers only saw one offensive snap. The 24-year-old will work to win a bigger role next season with the Rams.
