Shaquem Griffin: Ends up on practice squad

The Seahawks signed Griffin to the practice squad Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Griffin was fully expected to land on Seattle's practice squad after the team waived him amid roster cuts Saturday. The 2018 fifth-round pick, who mostly contributed on special-teams while also handling a depth defensive role during his tenure on the active roster, will get the benefit of continuing to develop with the Seahawks' coaching staff.
