Shaquem Griffin: Retires from NFL

Griffin announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday.

Griffin will hang up his cleats after a four-year NFL career, finishing with 24 tackles including a sack, while also deflecting a pass over 46 games with the Seahawks. The linebacker may not have had the longevity he hoped for in his career, but his story of personal perseverance has inspired a generation of athletes.
