Tommylee Lewis: Reaches injury settlement

The Panthers have waived Lewis (hamstring) from injured reserve after reaching an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Lewis will become a free agent and can sign with another team as soon as he's deemed healthy. The 27-year-old wide receiver played seven games for the Saints last year and posted three receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown.
