Trevor Davis: Shown door in Chicago

The Bears waived Davis on Tuesday, Larry Mayer of the team's official site reports.

Davis bounced around among the Packers, Dolphins and Raiders last season, contributing more as a returner/jet-sweep specialist than a wide receiver. The 2016 fifth-round pick has blazing speed -- he ran a 4.42 40-yard dash -- so he'll seek out a returner role elsewhere.
