Brenden Bates TE | CLE
Browns' Brenden Bates: Misses practice Wednesday
Bates (ankle) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice.
Bates missed last week's loss to the 49ers, and he's in danger of missing this Sunday's game versus the Titans unless he can return to the practice field by Friday. Even if Bates is able to play, he likely won't factor into the offensive gameplan because David Njoku (knee) is trending towards playing while Harold Fannin has the top spot locked up.

Michael Mayer TE | LV
Raiders' Michael Mayer: Misses another practice
Mayer (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday.
Mayer didn't practice last week before being ruled out for Sunday's loss to the Chargers. Another DNP on Wednesday clouds the TE's Week 14 status, but Mayer's outlook for this weekend's game against the Broncos could improve if he returns to practice Thursday or Friday.

Shane Zylstra TE | DET
Lions' Shane Zylstra: Won't play Thursday
Zylstra (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game versus the Cowboys.
Zylstra has been on injured reserve since getting hurt in Week 2 against the Bears, and he finally returned to practice Monday. The 29-year-old tight end isn't quite ready to return to action, however, and he'll aim to get back in the mix in Week 15 versus the Rams. Last season, Zylstra averaged just 9.0 offensive snaps per game.

Mark Andrews TE | BAL
Ravens' Mark Andrews: Inks three-year extension with Ravens
Andrews agreed to a three-year extension with the Ravens on Wednesday.
Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Andrews' deal is reportedly worth $39.3 million and includes $26 million guaranteed. The veteran tight end was slated to become a free agent after the 2025 season, but he's now under contract with the Ravens through 2028. In 12 games this year, the 30-year-old has caught 37 of his 52 targets for 332 yards and a team-high five receiving TDs. .

David Njoku TE | CLE
Browns' David Njoku: Logs limited practice Wednesday
Njoku (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday.
Njoku, who continues to manage a knee issue, was also limited this past Wednesday and Thursday before practicing fully Friday and approaching Week 13 action without an injury designation. A similar pattern could be on tap for the tight end ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans.

Brock Wright TE | DET
Lions' Brock Wright: Not playing Thursday
Wright (neck) has been ruled out for Thursday's game versus the Cowboys.
Wright now will miss a second consecutive contest due to a tracheal injury that may result in an extended absence, as coach Dan Campbell told Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press on Sunday. With Sam LaPorta (back) potentially out for the season, the Lions will lean on Ross Dwelley, Anthony Firkser and Hayden Rucci at TE in Week 14. Wright's next chance to suit up is Sunday, Dec. 14 at the Rams.

Pharaoh Brown TE | ARI
Cardinals' Pharaoh Brown: Joins active roster
The Cardinals signed Brown from their practice squad to the active roster Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
The 31-year-old has appeared in the Cardinals' last three games, contributing both offensively and on special teams (25 snaps on offense and 30 on special teams). Now with the active roster, Brown will likely continue playing a depth role in Arizona's tight-end room for the remainder of the season.

Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF
Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Remains listed as limited
Coach Sean McDermott said that Kincaid (hamstring/knee) will be limited in Wednesday's walk-through, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
That will mark the third straight limited listing for Kincaid, who last saw game action in Week 10. The tight end thus has two more chances to upgrade his participation level before the Bills assign injury designations ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals. During Kincaid's absence, Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes have been handling Buffalo's TE duties.
-
Jackson Hawes TE | BUF
Bills' Jackson Hawes: Targeted once in win
Hawes caught his lone target for 10 yards in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Steelers.
Hawes played 52 of the Bills 74 offensive snaps Sunday, his highest snap share of the season and just one fewer snap than fellow tight end Dawson Knox. With teammate Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) sidelined, the 24-year-old Hawes continues to see an uptick in usage in the Bills passing game, but it has not yet led to any major production. Based on his limited target share, the rookie remains far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 14 matchup against the Bengals.

Shane Zylstra TE | DET
Lions' Shane Zylstra: Downgrades to DNP on Tuesday
Zylstra (knee) did not participate at practice Tuesday.
It's a somewhat concerning sign for Zylstra, who Detroit just designated for return to practice from its injured reserve list Monday. It's looking increasingly unlikely he'll be able to suit up Thursday versus the Cowboys.
