The Avalanche assigned Miska to their taxi squad Monday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
The 26-year-old could be needed if backup Pavel Francouz (COVID-19) remains in protocol when the Avalanche resume play. Miska most recently played in the NHL last season, when he posted a 4.15 GAA and .838 save percentage in five games for Colorado.
