Avalanche's Kevin Mandolese: On waivers

Mandolese was put on waivers Saturday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Mandolese posted a 3.07 GAA and a .901 save percentage in 23 contests with AHL Belleville in 2023-24. The 24-year-old appeared in three NHL games with Ottawa in 2022-23, in which he went 1-2-0 with a 3.30 GAA and a .916 save percentage. He will probably begin the 2024-25 campaign in the minors with AHL Colorado.
