His goal, which came in the first period, stood as the winner. Joseph pressured Jack Quinn into a turnover at the left point on a Buffalo power play to create a breakaway. He raced in and ripped a wrist shot stick side past Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. The points doubled Joseph's season total (two goals, four assists) in 14 games.
