Canucks' Mackenzie MacEachern: Placed on waivers Monday

MacEachern was placed on waivers by the Canucks on Monday, James Mirtle of The Athletic reports.

MacEachern competed for a role with the Canucks to begin training camp after signing a two-way deal with the team during the offseason. He made 40 regular-season appearances for AHL Springfield last year, recording 12 goals, 20 assists and 54 PIM, and he'll presumably join AHL Abbotsford if he clears waivers.
