Ovechkin produced a goal and two assists with six shots in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Panthers.
Ovechkin, who had his eight-game scoring streak snapped Monday, got right back to work with his sixth multi-point performance of the young season. He sniped his 10th goal of the year late in the second period to cut Florida's lead to 4-2, then he assisted on tallies by Tom Wilson and Connor McMichael to help send the game into overtime. The 36-year-old Ovechkin already has 19 points and a plus-9 rating through 10 games.
