Muggli signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Capitals on Wednesday, per PuckPedia.
Muggli was drafted 52nd overall in this year's draft. The defenseman is expected to remain with EV Zug in the Swiss National League in 2024-25. He had 12 points in 42 games for that club last season after coming up through the organization's junior system.
