Dowd (upper body) will not play Sunday against the Stars, Tarik El-Bashir of The Athletic
Dowd exited late in Friday's 4-3 shootout win over the Hurricanes after getting the worst of a heavy hit earlier in the game and did not return. Lars Eller draws into the lineup after missing three games while in COVID-19 protocols, but rookie Connor McMichael will take Dowd's place centering the fourth line.
