Domi went off Tuesday night, recording his first NHL hat trick in a 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers. Two of his goals lit the lamp during the power play.
What a brilliant performance for Domi, who continues to build his case for the Calder Memorial Trophy as awarded to the most proficient rookie and handed out at the end of the regular season. A first-round (12th overall) draft choice from 2013, Domi is up to 31 points in 42 games with 29 percent of that total going down on the man advantage. The kid was doing a lot of fist pumping after his hat trick, and you should follow suit if you had the foresight to select him in fantasy drafts this season -- Domi is the real deal.
