Devils' Dougie Hamilton: Ends drought Saturday

Hamilton scored his fifth goal of the season in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth.

The veteran blueliner ended a 17-game point drought and a 26-game goal drought when he snapped a shot past Karel Vejmelka from a sharp angle late in the second period. It's been a brutal season for Hamilton, as the normally reliable offensive contributor has only five goals and nine points in 37 contests.
