Devils' Mackenzie Blackwood: Leaves Sunday's game

Blackwood left Sunday's game against the Rangers with an undisclosed injury and did not return, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

Based on the contact he took from Kaapo Kakko, Blackwood is most likely being checked for a concussion. He was replaced by Jonathan Bernier late in the third period. An update on Blackwood's status should be available before Tuesday's tilt with Ottawa.
