Daws was reassigned to AHL Utica on Wednesday.
Daws' demotion suggests Mackenzie Blackwood (heel) may be nearing a return to action. Daws has gone 10-11-1 while posting a sub-par 3.11 GAA and .893 save percentage through 25 top-level appearances this season.
