Ducks' Sam Steel: Not receiving qualifying offer

The Ducks did not issue a qualifying offer to Steel on Monday.

Steel tallied six goals and 20 points while averaging 12:19 of ice time through 68 games last season. The 24-year-old forward has scored exactly six goals in each of his first four NHL campaigns. A first-round pick in 2016, Steel hasn't lived up to expectations yet and it appears that Anaheim is ready to move on.
