Egor Zamula: Lands on unconditional waivers

Zamula was placed on unconditional waivers Monday for the purpose of terminating his contract, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports.

Pittsburgh acquired Zamula from Philadelphia on Wednesday in exchange for Philip Tomasino. However, Zamula didn't report to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton after the trade, which resulted in a suspension by the team. Assuming he goes unclaimed, he will become an unrestricted free agent.
