Carpenter recorded an assist and four hits in Monday's 3-2 win over the Kings.
Carpenter collected a dump-in from Michael Stone and fed Johnny Gaudreau for the game-winning goal at 14:08 of the second period. The assist was Carpenter's first point in three outings for the Flames since he was traded from the Blackhawks on March 21. The 31-year-old could see more regular playing time now that Sean Monahan (hip) is out for the season. Carpenter has 12 points, 63 shots on net, 128 hits, a minus-9 rating and 36 PIM through 62 appearances.
